Society actions quieten down somewhat towards the year end, providing time to not only finalise anything outstanding, but also some time to reflect and think about the new year.
With their eye also on next year, our National Show Committee will be meeting into November. Later on in the month, our Judging Standards Committee AGM takes place, both events keeping both Allan and Matt busy.
The main news this month, and as announced to our members last week, is that we’ve teamed up with World of Nishikigoi - the UK’s de facto koi publication.
Trustworthy content, great imagery, and hobbyists views are all aspects The Society not only support, but recognise help push both the hobby, and an individuals knowledge forward.
World of Nishikigoi already produce our National Koi Show programme, something our committees feel adds real value to ‘The National Experience’ - going one step further, by having dedicated page space in each volume of the magazine, should help raise awareness and support.
It’s early days; so you’ll initially see an intro from myself, some brief Society news alongside important dates.
We’ll also use this space for our other committees updates or adverts (national show & judging standards), alongside items Sections may like included.
We feel this will be a beneficial relationship, we hope you agree.
